I guess it wasn't the best time to launch a digital playlist site, huh? I have to follow Neil and Joni so this playlist will only be found on Apple Music for now. I am going to take a beat and research some of the other services. If you have one that you use and love, please give me a shout.

That said, I don’t know about you but the last couple of months have been tough. Here in NYC, it has felt a little bit like Groundhog Day. I figured we are all in need of a little pick-me-up, right? With that in mind, I have compiled my latest playlist with the aim to lift your mood. Since my last one was made up of newer tracks, this one is mostly oldies but I like to think goodies too. However, I couldn’t resist sneaking on a song from my favorite new band, Wet Leg. I hope this brings some joy to your day.

Ever since leaving the music biz, I have toyed with the idea of sharing digital playlists with a wider audience (i.e. anyone not currently living in my apartment). Blame Omicron or the New Year but I have finally decided to dive in head first and post my first playlist. My inaugural list is made up of songs from my Top 10 favorite records of 2021. I will be sharing my playlists with you regularly. Although not too many as we are all way too busy for that. Some of these playlists will be themed, some seasonally inspired and all will be of varying genres and decades. We will see where it takes us. Digital algorithms are not always the best for discovering music and nothing beats a recommendation from someone you trust. It is my hope to become that person and help you find music that you love. To start, I will be using Spotify for my playlists. That said, let's dig into the first playlist shall we?
